Sliders
- 12 King's Hawaiian Original Sweet Rolls
- 8 oz deli sliced corned beef, or leftover cooked corned beef
- 1-2 cups Thousand Island or Russian dressing
- 8 oz sauerkraut, drained with excess moisture squeezed out
- 12 slices Swiss cheese
Topping
- 2 tbsp salted butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1-2 tbsp everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit to prepare for baking the sliders evenly.
- Prepare the rolls: Slice the King’s Hawaiian rolls in half lengthwise and place the bottom halves in an oven-safe tray, creating the base layer.
- Layer with dressing, corned beef, and cheese: Spread a thin layer of Thousand Island or Russian dressing on the bottom rolls, then evenly top with the sliced corned beef and six slices of Swiss cheese.
- Add sauerkraut and more dressing: Spread the drained sauerkraut over the cheese, add another layer of dressing on top, and then place the remaining six slices of Swiss cheese on top of the sauerkraut.
- Close the sliders: Place the top halves of the rolls over the stacked ingredients to form the complete sliders.
- Prepare the butter mixture: Melt the salted butter and whisk in the garlic powder and Worcestershire sauce until well combined.
- Brush topping on rolls: Liberally brush the tops of the slider rolls with the garlic butter mixture to ensure a flavorful crust.
- Add seasoning and cover: Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning evenly over the buttered tops, then cover the entire tray with foil to keep moisture in during baking.
- Bake the sliders: Place the covered tray in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 25 to 30 minutes, or until the sliders are heated through and the cheese is melted.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of Thousand Island dressing based on your preference for moisture and flavor.
- Ensure the sauerkraut is well drained to prevent soggy sliders.
- Use foil to cover the sliders while baking to keep them moist and to help melt the cheese evenly.
- For an extra crunch, remove the foil in the last 5 minutes and allow the tops to crisp slightly.
- Leftover sliders can be stored in the refrigerator and reheated covered to maintain moisture.
