Scale
Sliders
- 12 pack rolls, halved lengthwise (Kings Hawaiian rolls recommended)
- 6 oz package of ham, thinly sliced
- 5 oz package of salami, thinly sliced
- 5 oz package of pepperoni, thinly sliced
- 9 slices provolone cheese
- ⅓ cup pepperoncini, sliced
- ⅓ cup pickled hot cherry peppers, sliced
- ¼ cup salted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed (fresh recommended)
To Serve (optional)
- 1 cup marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F to prepare for baking the sliders.
- Assemble Sliders: Lay the bottom halves of the rolls on a baking sheet. Layer the ham slices first, followed by salami, pepperoni, and provolone cheese. Then add sliced hot cherry peppers and pepperoncini. Finally, replace the top halves of the rolls to complete the sliders.
- Prepare Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, combine melted butter, Italian seasoning, and crushed garlic. Mix thoroughly to blend all the flavors.
- Brush Sliders: Generously brush the seasoned butter mixture over the tops of the assembled sliders, making sure to coat all surfaces and edges.
- Bake Covered: Cover the sliders with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Serve: Remove the sliders from the oven, slice them, and serve warm. Optionally, serve with a side of marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
- Using fresh garlic cloves enhances the flavor compared to pre-minced garlic from a jar.
- Hawaiian rolls provide the perfect soft and slightly sweet base for these sliders, but you can substitute with any soft sandwich rolls if needed.
- Covering the sliders with foil during baking ensures they heat evenly without drying out.
- Optionally, add a little more pepperoncini or hot cherry peppers for extra spiciness according to taste.
- Serve immediately after baking for the best texture and flavor.
