Description

These Hot Honey Garlic Flatbread Pizzas combine the spicy sweetness of hot honey with classic pizza flavors on a crispy flatbread base, perfect for a quick and flavorful meal.

  • 1 tsp Hot Sauce (Frank’s or Cholula recommended)
  • 1/2 tsp Chilli Flakes (adjust to taste)

Pizza Base and Toppings

  • 2 x Garlic Flatbreads (about 210 g each, 24×18 cm)
  • 130 g / 1/2 cup Pizza Sauce (thick, store-bought or homemade)
  • 180 g / 2 cups low-moisture Mozzarella (freshly grated or pre-grated)
  • 12 slices Pepperoni
  • Sliced Black Olives (optional)
  • Fresh Jalapeños, sliced (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 220C/430F with the tray inside to heat, ensuring a crispy base for the flatbread pizzas.
  2. Prepare Hot Honey: Combine honey, hot sauce, and chilli flakes in a bowl. Warm it briefly in the microwave for 10-20 seconds or simmer on the stove, then stir and allow it to cool to infuse the flavors.
  3. Assemble the Pizzas: Spread pizza sauce evenly over each flatbread. Top with mozzarella, pepperoni, jalapeños, and olives, placing extra mozzarella slices over pepperoni to prevent curling.
  4. Bake the Pizzas: Remove the hot tray from the oven carefully, place the assembled pizzas on it, then bake for 10 minutes until the edges are lightly charred and the cheese is golden and bubbly.
  5. Finish and Serve: Drizzle the desired amount of hot honey over the baked pizzas and enjoy immediately. Store any leftover hot honey.
