Description
A festive and spooky Halloween Punch combining cran-pineapple juice, ginger ale, and coconut water, optionally garnished with edible glitter and gummy candies. Perfect for parties, with an optional adult version spiked with coconut rum.
Ingredients
Scale
For the Punch
- 48 ounces cran-pineapple juice
- 32 ounces ginger ale
- 8 ounces coconut water
- ½ teaspoon edible gold glitter dust (optional)
- Gummy eyeballs, vampire teeth, and worms (for garnish)
- 1 shot coconut rum per serving (optional)
For the Ice Hand (Optional)
- 1 food-grade latex or nitrile glove
- 1 rubber band
- Water (to fill glove)
Instructions
- Prepare Ice Hand: If making the ice hand, fill the food-grade latex or nitrile glove with water and secure the top with a rubber band. Place it in the freezer overnight to freeze solid.
- Mix Punch: Just before serving, combine the cran-pineapple juice, ginger ale, and coconut water in a large punch bowl. Stir well to blend the flavors together.
- Add Glitter and Garnish: Stir in the edible gold glitter dust if using, then add gummy eyeballs, vampire teeth, and worms as garnish. Remove the glove from the frozen ice hand and add the ice hand to the punch bowl for a spooky effect.
- Serve Punch: Serve the punch as is for a non-alcoholic treat, or add one shot of coconut rum to each serving for an adult spiked version.
Notes
- For an adults-only party, spike the entire punch bowl by stirring in 12 ounces of coconut rum. If doing this, you can omit the coconut water.
- The ice hand should be prepared at least 8 hours in advance to ensure it is fully frozen.
- Food-grade gloves are necessary to make the ice hand safe and hygienic.
- Edible glitter dust adds a sparkling effect but is optional and can be omitted if unavailable.
