Description
This easy Biscoff Tiramisu recipe combines creamy mascarpone with rich Biscoff cookie butter and layers of coffee-soaked Biscoff cookies to create a delightful twist on the classic Italian dessert. Perfectly sweet and smooth, it’s a no-bake treat that sets overnight for best flavor and texture.
Ingredients
Scale
Biscoff Mascarpone Cream:
- 8 ounces mascarpone cheese, chilled
- ½ cup Biscoff cookie butter
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- Pinch of salt (optional)
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream, chilled
Assembly:
- 50-60 Biscoff cookies
- 1 ½ cups strong coffee or espresso
Instructions
- Prepare the cream: In a clean bowl, whisk together the mascarpone cheese, Biscoff cookie butter, sugar, vanilla, and salt for 30-60 seconds until creamy but not overmixed.
- Add whipping cream: Pour in the chilled heavy cream and whisk on medium speed for 1-2 minutes until stiff peaks form; scrape sides and bottom with a spatula to incorporate all ingredients evenly.
- Soak cookies: Quickly dip the Biscoff cookies in the strong coffee or espresso for 1-2 seconds each to avoid sogginess.
- Layer the dessert: Arrange two layers of the soaked cookies at the bottom of your serving dish or cups, filling any gaps with broken pieces as needed.
- Add cream layer: Spread half of the Biscoff mascarpone cream evenly over the cookie layers.
- Repeat layering: Add another two layers of soaked cookies followed by the remaining cream mixture. Optionally, pipe some cream on top using a ½” French star tip.
- Chill: Refrigerate the assembled tiramisu overnight or for at least 4 hours until fully set.
- Decorate and serve: Sprinkle crushed Biscoff cookies on top and drizzle with warmed cookie butter before serving for extra flavor and presentation.
Notes
- For an authentic touch, dust cocoa powder over the top before serving to mimic traditional tiramisu.
- Be careful not to soak the cookies too long to prevent them from becoming mushy.
- Use high-quality mascarpone cheese for the best creamy texture and flavor.
- Chilling overnight intensifies flavors and ensures the dessert sets properly.
- You can substitute coffee with espresso or strong decaf if preferred.
