- 1/3 cup white chocolate chips divided
- 1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips divided
- 3 tablespoons holiday sprinkles divided
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and line a 9×9-inch pan with parchment paper to prevent sticking and ensure easy removal of the cookie bars.
- Prepare dough: In a large bowl, mix the sugar cookie mix and brown sugar until well combined. Add the softened butter, egg, and vanilla extract, then stir until a uniform dough forms.
- Fold mix-ins: Reserve 2 tablespoons each of M&Ms, white chocolate chips, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and 1 tablespoon of sprinkles for topping. Fold the remaining M&Ms, white chocolate chips, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and sprinkles gently into the dough.
- Press dough and top: Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan. Sprinkle the reserved M&Ms, chocolate chips, and sprinkles evenly over the top for a festive look.
- Bake: Bake for 30 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
- Cool and serve: Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan to set. Once cooled, remove from the pan using the parchment paper, slice into 16 squares, and serve.
